Bob Thompson is
the principal officer of Annuity Transfers, Ltd. He received
a BA from the University of Texas at Austin in December
of 1982 and a MA from George Washington University in Washington,
D.C. in May of 1989. Bob began his professional career
in consumer finance with General Motors Acceptance Corporation.
He worked in the banking industry, building and managing
consumer loan portfolios. He then spent over nine years
managing financial and administrative operations for the
United States Government. He spent the last five years
of his government career overseas, serving in Japan and
the United Kingdom. Prior to establishing this business
in March 2003, Bob spent over five years as an executive
in the financial services industry. Bob has a strong background
in the legal and administrative issues related to the transfer
of structured settlement payment streams.
Shannon Harvey is
the Sales Coordinator at Annuity Transfers,
Ltd. She received a Bachelor of Science
from Texas A&M University in August
of 1991. Her sales career spans 13 years
ranging from Account Executive to VP Sales/Marketing.
As VP Sales/Marketing she developed several
successful marketing and advertising campaigns.
Most recently Shannon was a Senior Account
Executive for Pitney Bowes, Inc. for six
years where she earned several Sales Excellence
and Sales Leadership Club awards. At Annuity
Transfers, Ltd. she is responsible for coordinating
the entire sales process from the initial
customer contact to final funding.
Jean McCleneghan is the Legal Assistant at Annuity Transfers, Ltd. Jean prepares and reviews legal pleadings, and coordinates the flow of legal documentation related to the statutory approval of structured settlement transfers. She received her BA degree from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY in 1983 and continued her education by receiving a Paralegal Certificate from Southeastern Paralegal Institute in Dallas, Texas in 1997. Jean began working in the financial services industry as a Quality Control Specialist. Her responsibilities included review of all financial transactions to ensure compliance with underwriting criteria. Jean has developed Customer Service and Quality Control training programs, and served as Quality Control Manager. During her career as a Paralegal, Jean has worked in both private practice and in the corporate realm in areas such as bankruptcy, civil litigation and intellectual property. As a Paralegal she has received recognition awards for her role in managing assignments of global trademarks and increased database efficiency for reporting legal expenditures. |
